- I rebuilt my portfolio in <50KB of JavaScriptKilled Three.js, GSAP, Lenis, postprocessing, splitting, and canvas-confetti. Site dropped from ~800KB JS to under 50KB. Here's what I kept, what I cut, and the perf math.
- INP is the Core Web Vital that finally tells the truthFID was a polite lie. INP measures interaction responsiveness across the full page lifetime, and it is harder to fix. Here's how I think about it on production sites.
- App Router vs Pages Router in 2026: where each still winsThree years after App Router shipped, the answer is no longer 'just migrate'. Here's how I decide which router belongs on which project, and how I plan migrations.

Got an idea you want to ship?
Tell me what you're building, what's on fire, what you've tried. I usually reply within a day with an honest take — and if it's not a fit, I'll tell you who'd be better.
// before you ask
What kind of work do you take on?
Frontend-leaning product builds — marketing sites, web apps, design systems, headless commerce, content platforms. Comfortable across React/Next.js, Node, WordPress, and Shopify. Most projects fall in the 4–10 week range.
How do you price?
Fixed price for scoped work. Day rate for retainers. I scope after a 30-minute call so the number reflects the actual project, not a generic tier. Ranges typically start around $5k for sites, $15k+ for product builds.
How fast can you start?
Usually within 1–2 weeks of a signed agreement. If timing is critical, I can sometimes shuffle existing work for an extra week of lead time.
Do you work with design files or design from scratch?
Both. If you have a designer or finished Figma, I implement faithfully and flag UX issues as I build. If not, I can lead the design — strongest at marketing sites and admin/product UI.
Who owns the code and IP?
You. On final payment all source code, designs, and assets transfer to you. I keep rights to showcase the work in my portfolio unless an NDA says otherwise.
What about post-launch support?
Two weeks of bug fixes are included free. After that, ad-hoc fixes are billed hourly, or we set up a monthly retainer for ongoing improvements and check-ins.
