// about

Builder, designer, and product engineer.

“Make things people feel before they can name them — fast, considered, and a little bit alive.”

Mudassir Altaf
Muzaffargarh, PK

I'm a frontend-leaning full-stack engineer who designs and ships polished web products. Last decade: WordPress, Shopify, the React ecosystem, Node — moving from theme work into product architecture, design systems, and motion-first interfaces.

I care most about the small stuff: tight typography, fast first paint, instinctive interactions, honest copy. Details users feel before they can name them.

How I work

Every engagement runs the same five phases — adjusted for scope. Most projects ship in 4-8 weeks. Async by default, weekly sync calls, daily previews.

  1. 01week 1

    Discovery

Goals, audience, constraints, success metrics. Audit existing work. Define what done looks like.

  2. 02week 2-3

    Design

IA, wireframes, design tokens, hi-fi screens. Two rounds of feedback. Approved direction before any code.

  3. 03week 3-6

    Build

Component library, integration, content modeling, perf budget enforced from day one. Daily preview deploys.

  4. 04week 6

    Ship

QA pass, accessibility audit, Lighthouse, browser matrix, soft-launch staging, then go live.

  5. 05ongoing

    Support

Two weeks of bug fixes free. Optional retainer for new features, perf reviews, and quarterly check-ins.
